Time to Replace Your Mattress – Consider and Air Bed Instead
It may seem like an odd thought, and it did to me in the beginning. However, I happened to be at a dinner party with some friends, and there were a few people there I hadn’t met before. I’m a pretty sociable person so I decided to chat to some of the newcomers. A guy called Phil and I struck up a conversation, and we were soon swapping stories about where we’re from and what we do for a living.
When Phil found out what I do, he said that he wished we had known each other sooner because I would have had an extra customer. My instant thought was he liked camping since these are the types of products I sell. I soon learned that he couldn’t stand the thought of sleeping under the stars, and he must have noticed by look of puzzlement.
The AeroBed Extra Bed with Built-In Pump
He went on to tell me that the mattress for his bed had finally come to the end of its life, and he was fed up with springs poking him in the back. He had of course ordered a replacement but something went wrong (what, I never found out). However, I digress, he told me he decided to get an air bed instead until he found the right mattress, and the one he bought was the AeroBed Extra Bed with Built-In Pump.
Apparently, this was a good few months ago and he hasn’t looked back since. In fact, he told me he would never go back to a standard mattress.
Comfortable and Durable
First of all the model my new found friend purchased is 54 inches wide, 74 inches long and 9 inches high when it’s fully inflated, and is known as the “full size” so it fits the base of his bed perfectly. For those of you with other size requirements, you can also buy it as a twin or in a queen size. The top of the surface is flocked fleece which also gives that added extra bit of comfort.
Inside, the airbed has an oval coil construction which gives support and helps the mattress to keep its shape. Other than the top, this air bed is constructed of heavy duty PVC which helps to stop punctures and should only ever need a wipe down with a damp cloth to keep it clean.
Inflating and Deflating
One of the most popular features my customers look for in air beds are those that don’t require an external pump, and it turns out that Phil was no different. The AeroBed has an in-built pump that will inflate the whole thing in as little as 3 minutes.
Deflating this air mattress is a cinch. AeroBed has added their famous “whoosh” valve which will have the bed flattened within 15 seconds! Once deflated, it can be popped away in the handy storage bag that’s included.
Best until Last
If this wasn’t enough for you, the price for this air mattress is much cheaper than any standard mattress I’ve ever come across, and if you don’t believe me just take a look at some of the deals Amazon has to offer at the moment.
Of course, if you are looking for the perfect air bed when you go camping, this model is well worth a look.
