Need a Bed? Check This Out!
We all like a nice comfortable bed to fall into at night (well, I know I do) and the thought of not having this creature comfort can leave you feeling a bit down in the dumps. This was the case for a couple I’m very good friends with. They had just got married and were ready to settle down in their new home.
What you should know about these friends of mine is they are very image conscious and fortunately for them, they had the money to decorate their new home with nothing but the best. This included a custom made queen sized bed that they had been told would be delivered in time for them to move in.
However, disaster struck! The delivery date was put back by about 3-4 weeks because the manufacturer told them they were having trouble sourcing the wood they wanted. What were they going to do? (Was all I heard)
The Intex Deluxe Pillow Rest Comfort Queen
Knowing how house proud they both are, I was a bit hesitant but decided to suggest the queen size Intex Deluxe Pillow Rest. I was met with blank looks, and sensing they had no idea what I was talking about I told them it’s an air bed. Blank looks quickly turned to ones of disgust.
Mary said “airbeds are just for camping aren’t they”? To which I replied, absolutely not. Loads of my customers use them for keeping their guests comfortable, and there are even a few that prefer them to a normal bed. Sensing (again) that I would need to do a bit of convincing here, I went on to tell them what benefits this air mattress would give them.
Latest in Comfort Technology
This airbed is designed to sleep two average sized people quite adequately, and to help make sure you get a decent night’s sleep they have added an in-built pillow which you can use on its own or add your own pillow on top. An outer parameter frame is also built into it which helps to stop couples from rolling each other over the sides while they sleep.
You also benefit from 15 gauge beams at the sides, and on the bottom which are made from vinyl, and the top is just over 21 gauge, flocked for comfort and waterproof.
Inflating and Deflating
This couldn’t be easier. Intex has done away with the need for tiring foot pumps which can break when they’re over-used, and instead have built the pump into the bed. It’s electrically powered and will inflate your bed in a matter of minutes.
No more sore feet, and no more frustration because you can’t find the pump amongst all the other bits and pieces you have in your garage. This system also means you can adjust the amount of air in your bed so it’s not too hard or too soft, just by the touch of a button. Deflating is just as quick, and it comes with its own duffel bag with strap.
Overall
My friends were eventually convinced this air bed would be a good idea, and they haven’t looked back since. In fact, they have bought both the Intex Deluxe Pillow Rest QUEEN and the TWIN to be sure they can accommodate all guests.
You don’t have to take my word on how good this air mattress is, just take a look at what others have had to say on Amazon (just follow the links above). My friends are not the only satisfied customers!
